Our story
SDA Sports Academy was founded in 2016 by Sam Arrowsmith — one of the most talented youth coaches around. Our qualified team is extremely passionate about keeping young people active and delivering coaching that develops essential sport and life skills.
We've delivered hundreds of sports coaching sessions across Harrogate, Settle, Skipton and the surrounding areas of North Yorkshire — building a reputation for outstanding youth coaching, holiday camps, PE delivery and sports-themed events.

Qualified & insured
Sam is an FA Level 2 Qualified Football Coach with a BTEC Distinction in Sport, DBS-checked and fully insured. Every coach who works for SDA holds FA Level 2 qualifications, has cleared DBS and CRB checks, and we're covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance up to £1 million via Insure4Sport.
Sports coaching done the right way
We specialise in group training across many sports, school holiday camps, 1-2-1 coaching, PE lessons and birthday parties. Football, rugby, cricket and more.

Our students are treated as family. We do whatever it takes to make sure students improve their technical ability, fitness and wellbeing — and have loads of fun doing it.
